In 2012, Kim Peake helped start Idaho Coalition for Justice, a non-profit to bring awareness, advocacy, and action to help fight and end modern-day slavery and human trafficking (HT). Her vision is for everyone to be a part of ending modern-day slavery. Kim’s keynotes and workshops on advocacy focus on presenting the issue of HT and engaging people to make a real difference. As a mom, wife and professional, she encourages others to live a lifestyle that goes beyond themselves but still works within their lives. When Kim speaks and writes, she hopes for two things: lots of laughter and to encourage people to live life to the full. Kim is married to Doug, and they have lived in Boise for 21 years. They have three children, two at college and a 6th grader. Kim is currently a partner manager with Hewlett-Packard; other professional work experience includes teaching high school math and working on church staffs as a worship leader and missions director. She loves to hike with her dog, stay active with her family, travel, read, and cook.
